I know how to do it using date(), but I am asking if there is a function only for this. For I am migrating my database from sqlserver to mysql when i come to getDate() function in sqlserver the replacement in mysql is Now() but Now() not returned the exact result and format that getDate() I'm a MySQL guy working on a SQL Server project, trying to get a datetime field to show the current time.
