I'm totally new to this and can't find a solution anywhere about this problem. I'm trying to select faces however it will not select the faces that I want. I'm new to 3ds max as of today. I need to connect one side of this mesh to the other. How can I select vertices and create faces from them?

The balcony face is angled (as you can see in the section view) and also curved (as seen in plan). Solved: Hosting a face-based family to an angled & curved wall in a ... The reason for that error, is Face Profiling doesn't support bosses in the ID direction. I modified your Model override sketch to remove it, so you can see it generates when you do: I would go with Face Grooving like @a.laasW8M6T suggested.
