Tilde Key Incorrectly Typing Rupee Symbol After Using External Keyboard The Problem My Mac is stuck on a version of the "ABC - India" input source where the tilde/backtick key (`/~) is mapped to the Rupee symbol (โ‚น). I want to use the standard ABC-India layout where this key works normally, as it does for my friends. Background You press the key.

Understanding the Context

Nothing happens. The automated call system continues; it may ask you to press a key again. By default the iPhone does not send the keypress. To fix it do this: Open Settings.

Key Insights

Scroll down to Apps. Scroll down to Phone. Select Incoming Calls. Change the option from Banner to Full Screen. Done.

Final Thoughts

command key for keyboard shortcuts no longer works I'm using a Logitech K380 Mac-compatible bluetooth keyboard. As of today, the command key couplets (cmd) + action key (X = delete, C = copy, V = paste, W = close file, etc.) no longer work. They've worked fine on this keyboard for several years, until today. However โ€“ now the right Option key seems to behave like a Windows Alt key (not like in Mac, where Option is always equivalent to Alt+Gr, to type third characters like @#ยฌ etc) but I can look into this issue later, I guess. Keychron provides an online remapping tool that may fix this latter problem. Thanks so much for your help, Tom!!

Kind ... Attached is a screenshot of how the key is detected but the key prompt at the bottom doesn't respond. This thread has been closed by the system or the community team. You may vote for any posts you find helpful, or search the Community for additional answers.
