On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app . Timeline is a Google Account setting that helps you go back in time, and remember where you’ve been, by automatically saving your visits and routes to a map on each of your signed-in devices. No timeline is recorded on my new Samsung s25. It works fine on my old galaxy s20, but would not work on S25.

All settings are the same on both phones. The s25 is running Android v15. Google maps are updated to the latest version. The timeline and location services are On. Any help would be much appreciated.
