Hi, I'm having a really hard time with my Windows Explorer Window. It's stuck in maximum mode but I can minimize. The problem is I can't use the arrows to change the size of the window.

Understanding the Context

Any help would be appreciated. I'm working with Windows 10. Administrators can specify how the ribbon appears the first time users open File Explorer and whenever they open new File Explorer windows. This tutorial will show you different ways to hide or show the Ribbon in File Explorer for your account or all users in Windows 10.

Key Insights

I am running Windows 10 version 1903. My file explorer is missing the Home tab on the ribbon. All I have is File, Computer, & View. The only thing changed is a new router installed yesterday & my Pc is set to WiFi now instead of being connected directly to the router. But I can't imagine why that would affect the File Explorer.

Final Thoughts

When I open File Explorer the window opens maximized and will not let me resize it. The minimize (-) and close (x) buttons work ok but the center button doesn't do anything when picked. I am new to windows 10, my old system was XP. Any help/ideas would be appreciated. If you add File Explorer to your list of apps that can't be included in sets of tabs, open in new tab will open in new window instead until File Explorer is removed from this list. This tutorial will show you different ways on how to open in new tab a selected folder, library, or drive from within File Explorer in Windows 10.
