Understanding the Context

After a three-year run at the top of the annual list of world’s most liveable cities from the Economist Intelligence Unit, Vienna has been beaten out by another European city. the Fashion Spot is a fashion industry forum where fashion influencers and fashion enthusiasts meet to discuss designs, collections, magazines, editorials... I don’t think it’s by him (the last one is probably SS 2025 couture). The Giorgio show marks his 50 years in fashion, it’s said to be a parade of his body of works so I’m for it (literally the only Milan show I care).

Key Insights

Do not put baluns in single element dipoles that would be used for anything other than the frequency they're cut for or the appropriate odd harmonic. Multiple-element "fan" dipoles are great with a good balun. Always use current baluns. The ONLY exception to this are the Radio Works "Remote Balun" and another 4:1 balun called the "Centaur". QSOs have not been dropped despite the fact that I don't change TX frequency.

Final Thoughts
